Reversing Valve Clicks
goodman gsh130241ab heat pump
The selenoid clicks then goes from cool to hot. Electrical problem or valve? since the valve produces cool for less than a minute its not completely stuck. Ill call a tech monday if I cant get it working myself before then. |

It clicks and whooshes. sometimes it will cool for a bit then change over to heat again. I dont want to have to replace the changeover valve. does anyone have advice on checking the derost terminator?

I think i fixed it? I disconnected the defrost thermostat and disconnected the rv solenoid. reconnected the rv and it switched over to cool and stayed. Then I reconnected the defrost thermostat. Ill keep my eye on it to make sure it doesnt freeze over?
