Restaurant Hood Fan Sucking All The Heat Out Of The Kitchen. Cook In Parka. Any Ideas

Hey guys, currently on hiatus from the oilfield. Bartending at a small bar and our kitchen is freezing.
Instrument tech by trade. Don't know much about ventilation other than how to start or stop it.
Our exhaust fan is sucking up all our heat. Seems to be alot of negative pressure. Doors hard to open, wind tunnels, and really cold. Looks as if the low setting doesn't seem to be working. Might be able to fix that. But is there anything else going on. Dampers stuck? Is there tweaking or some sort of controls I can play with. I haven't had a slow enough day to really delve into it but is there somewhere I should start looking?
Thanks very much.
James

Call a HVAC technician, tell him what is happening, and expect to see a make up air unit with heat installed.

And, nothing personal, but you are not a tradesman, and this forum is for guys who work in the trade.
