Radiant Heat

I'm looking into installing, buying a radiant heat system from AIM radiant heating. Does anybody have some experiance with them. And there Inferno blue flame boilers?

We put radiant heat in our new home. This is the first winter and all seems great. Not familiar with AIM. Here Rinnai seems to be the most common. I went with an out door wood furnace. Being a carpenter I have endless wood scraps from jobs. Mine holds a fire for 24 hours with dimensional lumber scraps and 48 plus with dry madrone logs.

Not sure if your asking me or not. I only have expierence with mine but I researced it for a year before we built the house. It took me a while to get the info I needed and even then I found that everyone you talk to claims to be an expert. It was like religion. Most companys I talk to tried to convince me that there system was the best and why and how the others are all inferior. The concept is as old as the hills and the science is only making it better. Things I learned along the way prove that it really depends on what you want and need determine how radical you need to get. I have a 4000 sq foot two story house, my system complete was under 10k and I did 90 percent of the work myself. I hired my hvac guy to run the duct work and mount the air handler for me. His bill was around 600. I do like the furnace instead of boiler system though just for the simplicity and the safety side.

No experiance in design of a heating system, AIM does that for me. I have never installed a heating, but have lots of experiance in plumbing. The system they designed will cost me around $9000 including panelradiators pipping, boiler... everithing. This is for my own house that's around 1300sq.

So to summerize Kluc, the OP asked about radiant and a boiler and all you have talked about is a furnace and hot air.
