Question Oil burner problem

Hello,
After cleaning 8 yr old Burnam boiler with Becket AFG burner, flue etc and changing filter, screen and correct nozzle things seemed fine two weeks ago. Now about 50% of time after around 14 seconds or so it sounds like a studdering one to three times but burner keeps going and completes cycle each time. What direction should I be looking at?
