Moving Chimney ?

Hi all, this is a question for my personal house I am getting in Jan. I plan on bringing in an HVAC contractor to do the move is possible but I wanted to get some background info on here first.

I plan on removing a wall on the main floor of my bungalow structurally I am good as the roof is trusses, but upon further inspection I noticed the furnace chimney is running up the middle of the house. I want to know if this can be moved to the side of the house and up and out through the roof as it is now ? it is a double wall stainless pipe.

It come out of the furnace goes over horizontally about 5' towards the center of the home and up I plan to have it moved about the same distance 5' towards the outside.

There are strict codes on this that you would need to talk to the AHJ about. The easiest way maybe to just add a sidewall exhaust kit if possible and not worry about natural draft.
