Hi all
I am having problems with my rheem unit and need some wiering advice.
I HAVE A OLDER MODEL rcba-4882as21 air handler with a rheem rp7a042jaz heat pump condenser. and a new Honeywell RTH3100 t-stat that i am trying to install ( old t-stat was ripped off the wall by renters )

I am trying to replace the thermostat. If you can help i need to know what color wires are what inside the air handler i have a Black/white black/green purrple red brown in the air handler...

on the t-sat i have E AUX Y G O L R B C

outside on the heat pump i have three wires going in the unit a red a yellow and a blue

If you have any ideas please e-mail me at zolkat (@) earthlink.net

well unit is a older rheem heat pump on the AH i have black/white that goes to electric heat, than black/green that goes to fan, got my red = 24 v, than brown = common, and a purrple that according to rheem goes direct to the heat pump... for defrost

on my Honeywelli have E AUX Y G O L R B C

my guess would be as obvious gr/black to G
Red to R

Black/wht to AUX

Brown to C

There is nothing for O = reversing valve..

Any ideas?
