HVAC Help In Northern VA

Great site...I'm glad I found it. I needed a Carrier Heat Pump to replace my current one. How much is a good deal for replacing the inside and outside units. I'm not sure of the size of my current unit...it doesn't say it anywhere, but the model numbers are:
Carrier
Outside 38QH030310
Inside 40AQ030300BB

I think this is a 2.5 ton.

Any recommendations?

That is indded a 2.5 ton system.
New systems are big $$$. New effeciency ratings are 30% better than they used to be... but beware thats only when in cooling mode.
Get a couple of quotes, Bryant is mechanically identical to Carrier so try them too.
