Honeywell Untrue Steam

I have put in three true steams.

one 9 gal two 12 gal

The two 12gal. are in the same house 5600 sqft. The best I can achieve after 6 weeks running 24/7 is 33 upstairs (nice) but only 24% on the main floor. Had the Honeywell rep out today and he is going to bring out an engineer next week.

Tight house no erv or hrv fire place dampers are closed and well fit.

Here is my question have any of you had trouble getting the humidity up? 24 gal a day should handle 6000 sqft.

Odds are that the equipment does what it was designed to to. It's just a matter of delivery
Does the house have one furnace for upstairs and one for downstairs? or, are the furnace used on the two "wings"

Is there a return in the area of the humidistat? Or, are they primarily upstairs? I can't say that I have done a load calculation but twelve gallons a day sounds like plenty. Good luck. Feel free to throw out more thoughts on this issue, it would be cool to find out the outcome.

one up one down
humidi-stat is between ra ducts

I have done the load calc 12 gal good for 3000 sqft house is 6000
Honeywell is going to send an engineer to look at the house this month do not have the date yet. I will report on the outcome.

I will say the true steam is not doing any better than the small bi-pass it replaced

Duct mounted or remote mounted?

Remote mounted is steam hose properly routed per install diagram?

Air Flow Switch being used? Was dip switch 5 moved to ON?

What controls are being used? Vision Pro? Humidistat -- duct mounted?

Show the equation you used.

Think maybe Honeywell is over stating their out put? Wouldn't be the first time a mfg did that.
