Gas Direct Zero Clearance Fireplaces !
Hi,
I am thinking of installing fireplace inserts that use gas.I have a mason friend who I want to hook up with to do this.My mason is a real great fireplace mason and I think we can push this in are local area.If they is anyone that is installing products like Vermont Castings.Would you give me some feedback on this new idea.I am not a great fan of direct vent ,so I was thinking I could just build a chimney with flues 1 for boiler and other for fireplace.I do realize direct vent would be cheaper for a homeowner, but the duct work on side of houses looks like crap.I thank you for the feedback.
