Furnace Blowing Hot And Cold Air

Have a Goodman 92k two stage gas furnace.

While cleaning out the furnace I noticed different temperature air blowing directly out the top of the furnace. I didn't take any temp readings but there is definately a difference when moving your hand across the entire area. Is this normal or is there an issue that should be addressed?????????

All the burners are burning.

Re: Furnace Blowing Hot And Cold Air

Not a problem you are just feeling air that has not mixed together.

in 90% furnaces the air passes through the secondary then the primary. The primary is narrower than the secondary so some air passes on the side not being heated till it mixes.
