Forced Air Systems
I am building a new construction residential home. I just started as the super yesterday. Already i see hundreds of problems. It seems that no one has thought out what is coming next.
I am going to have a problem getting my AC ductwork through some tie beams. I heard about forced air AC systems. I understand that they force high velocity air through PVC pipe or something of the kind. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you, ryan |

Re: Forced Air Systems
Yep, they are called Unico or SpackPak systems. They use small diameter, high velocity ducts and a special associated air handler. These systems need engineered, not simply installed. The HVAC supply house will often commission the factory rep to do this for you, per your print.
