Energy Kinetics System 2000

Anyone have any idea what this system runs as far as cost of intallation? I've read a lot of stuff about it but haven't seen any prices talked about.

If I remember right, they will only sell it to the trade so you would have to talk to a local guy or guys about it. Otherwise, try your local Plumbing Supply shop and see what they say.

I looked at that system as well, and I didn't get a price, but I was told it isn't cheap

Re: Energy Kinetics System 2000

Well, here's an update. Had a guy come out and give me an estimate for a system 2000 set up with 40 gal. tank and 3 ton A/H with heat coils for forced hot air and with the a.c. coils in it (condenser not included), the "special" price was $12,450! I tried to keep a straight face, not sure if I was successful. WTF, my house is 1200 sq. ft. He also gave me a price of basically the same system just not system 2000 products and it was only $1700 less. Still waiting for a second estimate to be sent, so we'll see what happens. Right now I'm thinking of trying to switch over to all baseboard to save myself the $4000 the A/H cost.

Actually That's not a bad price. Normal boiler swapouts are in the 7200-8500 price range. This is a Weil Mclean 3 section, new circs, new burner, and spirovent. For a new System 2K and new A/C sounds about right.
