Does TRANE manufactures its own filters?

Client of mines is moving down South, she is pretty happy with the system I set up for her here a few years back, she has a very nice IAQ system installed mostly HONEYWELL. In her last trip she realized that her contract for her new house did not include an Electronic Air Cleaner. Her HVAC guy down there wants an exsorvitant amount of money for a "Trane Clean Effects Filtration System" I was looking online and realize thats just an "Electronic Air Filter" How does Honeywell Eviraclean or whatever is called compare to the mentioned Trane unit?

I am not very Savy on Trane systems aside the fact that they are owned by American Standard. I really don't think they manufactured Cleaners, but maybe you know better

The trane clean effects is much better than a standard EAC (and I definitely don't sell Trane products). The Trane clean effects, Bryant Perfect air purifier (and whatever carrier's name is) and the Lennox that I can't think of the name for, are all a new generation of filter. Yes, they do cost more, but they are much more effective at stopping small particles. Another favorite point of mine is either a complete absence of ozone production or a very small amount (around 5 PPB).

If Trane doesn't make their clean effects. Its made to their specs. Which are higher then Honeywells.

PS: American Standard doesn't own Trane(it did at one time).
Trane owns A/S, and Ingersol Rand owns trane.
