Comfortmaker RPJ2 Will Not Ignite - Fan Induced Motor Not Turning On.
I have a Comfortmaker RPJ2 that when sending a call for heat from the thermostat, the blower motor will turn on but the fan induced motor will not. This seems rather strange as if power is getting to the blower motor why is it that the fan iduced motor will not turn on?
If the fan induced motor will not turn on does that also send a signal to the burner ignition? Any help would be appreciated. Roland T. |

Re: Comfortmaker RPJ2 Will Not Ignite - Fan Induced Motor Not Turning On.
Inducer motor has to activate a pressure switch to continue the signal on to the control board to start the ignition sequence. Possible something got into the flue and keeping the motor from turning, could be a bad relay/control board not turning the motor on or even could be a bad motor itself.

Check your high-temp limit switchs, sounds like one is open.
