A/c Type/unit Advice Please

Want to install a/c in the master bedroom only. (our somewhat new house is not pre-plumbed for a/c so routing the air into the centrally located fan is not ideal.) Master bedroom is about 330 sq ft with vaulted ceiling.
Anyhow, was wondering if there were other options out there besides going through an existing window or through the stucco outer walls. Are there units that can be installed in the attic/roof area of our master closet (through with the a/c routed into a fan that can be installed in an inner wall?). I've seen these units overseas, but not sure if they're available here.
