bought some new heater/AC unit last night

I'm not into this stuff at all, all I know is my house was cold because my oil furnace of 27 years finally bit the dust.

In a drunken stagger, I think I paid some guy $8250 for a contract to install a TRANE 14 sear AC unit, and a 100k BTU RHEEM? forced air oil furnace. Take all the old stuff out, and help clean some duct problems I had.

Anyway, was I hosed bad on this? Anything for me to watch out for come Monday for installation?

I know everyone hates these types of questions, but I'm on the boards fairly regularly not just here to price shop my HVAC.

Take it easy guys.

Hard to say. Not knowing what his labor rates are, what his equipment costs are, time he has bid into the job, the ductwork materials needed and time to redo, permit costs, etc. it would be just guessing to say that was too much or too little to pay for that job.
