Best Way To Install 6" Duct
How u doing. My basement is missing a piece of duct so i got 6" duct, elbow & connector piece. Whats the best way to connect them all together? I have tape, mastic, and hex heads
I have one piece of duct hanging with the male end, so i will connect the elbow end to that and then connect the 24" pice of duct to the other existing piece with the male to male connector. I just want to know whats the best way to connect the ends? Should i just tape it? The whole connection piece that im making is about 24" w/ a elbow Or should I apply mastic, screw the hex heads around into it and then tape it?? |
