Re: Best Furnace??

Almost any warm air furnace you're going to buy nowadays will be a high-efficiency condensing type. They present a different set of service issues than former generations of warm air furnaces, but that's neither good nor bad; just different. The Bryant brand is generally high quality equipment.

I would solely go by the heat exchanger warranty, the longer the better.

Keep in mind a Bryant is a Carrier. Do your research.

Lennox is a good piece of heating equipment, but the OEM parts are more expensive than most other brands. Have you ever had a Pulse that had the heat exchanger blown apart from a delay in ignition?

No MechDVR the point was Carrier is not your best bet.(sorry Carrierman Do your homework meant look at consumer reports. Going for heat exchanger warranties is not the brightest thing to do. Yes the company will supply the exchanger but the labor would be the bulk of cost anyway. Most times they are replaced with exchanger issues. Parts and labor warranties are a smarter way to go.

Ok, so who has the longest parts and labor warranty?
As for labor being the biggest cost in a residential heat exchanger change out, if they take longer than 2 hours, the guy must be way too new.
