Any Experience With Solar Powered Attic Exhaust Fans?
Client has hot attic. Existing electric attic fan is contantly running. Estimate cost of running attic fan is more than the heat offset by it. Would like to replace this fan with two gable mounted 10w solar fans.
Any experience with these? Also looking for a supplier. Ace and Home Depot have them for ~ $210 |

Re: Any Experience With Solar Powered Attic Exhaust Fans?
No experiance, however my instincts tell me that they would not have enough cfm*s to do the job, The constantly running fan is probably due to a lack of fresh air intake. Venting an attic CORRECTLY, is not just installing a fan, it is a specific set of requirements that must all work together. G
