American Standard Freedom 90 Question

Hi, I have a American Standard Freedom 90 Unit. I have been having problems with heat start up. This does not happen all the time. When the Tstat calls for heat, the gas seems to flame out at start up. It tries it a second time and if it does it again it wont start. I have to power down everything to get it to work. I had a professional come look at it and the promblem would not show. He said the furnace was ok. Any ideas? Also is there a place I can go to get parts and trouble shooting manuals?
Thanks for your help/
