Air Flow Measuring Questions.
I purchased a digital air flow meter for single family homes in Los Angeles.
Are there any rule-of-thumb things you look for when checking the air flow from ducts? What should the average temperature be coming out of the register? Do contractors really measure the cfm and enter in the duct size for each measurement? What is the rule-of-thumb for required cfm? Thank you in advance. |

Re: Air Flow Measuring Questions.
Do a search on You Tube for Jim Bergmann. He is an hvac instructor at Cayohoga College in Ohio. He is also a technical rep for Testo Inc. Makers of many fine pieces of hvac test equipment. He has some training videos posted on You Tube. Also go to External Static Pressure Measurements
