Re: Safety Glasses ....

Never had the problem, truthfully. What brand are you using? I mostly use Smith & Wesson safety glasses, and Uvex Astro series (basically the same model). They don't seem to fog up on me.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

safety glasses have never fogged on me, sfatey goggles tend to fog...

simply go to a SCUBA shop & spend five bucks, on anti-fog solution.
great stuff!!!!

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I have tried the anti-fog stuff but didn't have much luck. I have a problem fogging to when it is right around freezing temp. I just learned to live with it!!

Re: Safety Glasses ....

currently I "use" (mostly not) the DeWalt DPG56-9D Ventilator Safety Sun Glasses, Indoor / Outdoor Lenses. The word "Ventilator" misled me into buying them but they do not work.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I've never had a problem with safety glasses fogging up. maybe it's because of the dry air here.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

You can buy safety glasses with an anti-fog coating already on them. Same with goggles. Look at your local first aid & safety supplier.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I have used Uvex for years and they are cheap (company provides them free). Seriously, they are great safety glasses. I will admit they will fog when going from a cold building like a subsation to a humid outdoor climate, but otherwise they are fine. Where I work they always keep the anti fog solution handy to keep them clean. I own several and even a few with the magnifier for us folks with aging eyes.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I have a pair like this
http://www.google.com/imgres?q=safet...1t:429,r:0,s:0
that fogged.
I drilled/melted/cut two 3/8" holes in the top and the bottom, four holes total in this rubbery material.
No more problems.

Re: Safety Glasses ....

regarding the antifog spray. you can get it sporting goods stores in the hockey section as well. they make it for visors.

as for saftey glasses.. dont wear em i have prescription glasses.. if i do wear safety overglasses it creates a wind tunnel effect and more dust gets in my eyes. plus because my prescription is so strong i have to get my lenses thinned which means using the exact same plastic that is used in prescription safety glasses

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I use the bausch and lomb lenses cleaning solution with silicone. The silicone is what gives it the antifog.

This is what I have. Comes with solution and tissues in a convient pack!

Re: Safety Glasses ....

I need prescription lenses for close up work. Picked these up through my local glasses store. The protective lense just snaps off and I can replace them when scratched.

This...^

I sell a lot of Uvex Safety glasses..They are a popular choice. As others have said, the anti fog wipes help.
