Schottky diodes

Where are you getting them?

Low voltage DC (12 ~ 16), 5 amps.

I'm putting something together and I want as low a voltage drop as possible, I thought Radio Shack would have them, but no luck.

Good luck, I did a goggle search and unless you want 99 or more you are stuck. What are you trying to do maybe there is an alternative.

I'm using them as blocking diodes, I could use regular rectifier diodes but I want as little voltage drop as possible. I found some on eBay (I have to remember to always check eBay), 15 for $12 bucks, I can't believe they are so hard to find.

Unfortunately Radio Shack has turned into a retail store and no longer really supports us guys that need random parts anymore.

Try Jameco or DigiKey and you may find what you need...

How many do you want? They're almost always used on the output stage of most SMPS. If you just want one or two, rip it out of a computer power supply carcass. They're usually mounted on a heat sink and they're usually 32v or so and 10s of amps.
