If your bored, play with the guy, give him an amount tell him to send you a check and when it clears you will send the product. When it bounces (which I am sure it will) give it to the DA and the post office (mail fraud) and help shut the guy down.

I get them all the time looking for 70 - $400 cameras (they started with the smokes) and I used to mess with them. For a while I would reply with threatening letters about how I have already tracked their "real isp" and my agents are devising a tactical plan of entry at this very moment in their neighborhood, and notes like that. Usually it got rid of them.

Just delete and move on (it's easier)

On another note I did see where I won $677,384,204 in the Arabian lottery, just waiting on my check!

I used to get stuff like that in the late 90s running a computer shop. Places in Russia and such looking to buy $40K or so worth of stuff and wanting to pay by credit card. I told them wire transfer only and their response was they couldn't trust their own banks. Good luck!

I have received a lot of this crap. Even phone calls. It can be easy to get suckered in to the scam. My hope is that by posting this it will clue in someone not to make a mistake.

Have a better week.

I watch a Tru-Value and Ace hardware store board and this is a common scam. You charge to their credit card and ship. A week later you find out the charge was denied.

Same here, all the inquiries or "enquiries" as they say go into the trash. By the way, based on all the lotteries I've won, I am now a multi-trillionaire and will writing a check next week to cover the national debt.
