Need A Supplier For Recessed HDMI Plate In So Cal

I've got a customer who is buying one of these new LED TV's and they practically hang on the wall like a picture leaving almost no room to plug anything in. I'm looking for one with 2 HDMI ports. Anyone have a low voltage supplier here in Southern California. I need to find one in the next couple of days.

why not just use a vent plate? If space is of concern.

Check out Arlington Industries, just got to link below and then click on table of contents, and then click on communications, then look under recessed boxes.

Do you have a ADI in your area? If so then they carry these.

Cable whole sale has 2 port plates, but why?

Just put a data-comm chute plate on and use 2 flat HDMI cables.

Man, these new TV's leave no room for the cables. I just finished installing this LED TV and it's only 1" thick and hangs on the wall like a picture. It has a thin cable that mounts on the back and that is uses to hang on the wall. Only leaves maybe 3/4" between the wall the TV. The picture was incredible though.

I did that mantle too. As well as running all the electrical, low voltage cables, and drywall.

That looks like the model I just hung.Did it use two wall mounted disk type things to gang the cable from?

Good job!

Yeah, It was two disk things mounted to the wall and a cable attached to the TV. Can't believe how thin these things are.

Thats the samsung 7000/8000 series, done quite a few of them. The picture mount is pretty neat but I've been using more and more PremierMounts.

What I don't get in the pic is why someone would go to the expense of having an ultra flat TV just to have big speakers plunked on the mantle. It would look sooooo much cleaner if it had some recessed Infinity TSS4000s or other flat speaker to compliment the look.

IMO I think it looks odd to have those speakers on the mantle...takes away from the sleek appearance of the TV. Why not go in-wall?

BKFranks, that looks really good. Well done.
