Getting Dark Soon ?

It'll be getting dark soon and I want to install a couple of halogen fog lights inside my work van.

I would like to turn it on / off from a switch at the rear doors and / or side cargo doors.

Is the wiring the same as a resi 3 - way using 2 3 - way switches ?

If not, can you advise how to wire it.

Two 3-ways will work exactly the same in your truck as it does in your house.

+12v to the common, travellers between them, and the other common to the lamp(s). Ground the lamp(s).

If you want to use 'automotive' switches, get SPDT and consider the center terminal as the common, the outer terminals the travellers.

Thanks Sparky - I wasn't sure about the rockers either. Good to know if I use them.
