dish and direct are good subcontract/contracts to be getting. Comcast ain't bad but some of the comcast master contractors or top tier contractors are not that great at paying or treating their subcontractors/installers. How I know... I have a friend at Comcast, I do a lot of the Fire alarms for their offices/facilities.

I am getting paid $9.00 for singles and $18.00 for doubles burying cable. Should that be more? I am doing about 70 jobs a week with about 7 doubles a week.

comcast.... hahaha..... I have to say comcast is a shady company when it comes to vendor payment. I did some fire sprinklers for them at one of their local offices... they didn't pay for almost 7 months even though the job passed inspection.

You find the contractor that does the work in the area. Where are you wanting to go to work?

southeast MA and RI, I know who the contractors are around here allready doing it, but i dont think they'd want to tell me how to get the jobs as I'd be taking from them. I'm a utility locater in the area so i get to see all the jobs coming in, and there's a ton.

We do repair work for Comcast and their local sub RWL. Repairs to the home when they screw up. Lots of sheetrock. I know that the individual subs for RWL are supposed to have their own insurance. The problem is that they don't want to make a claim for $500 and risk getting canceled. They usually pay out of pocket.

Interested

If the application and conected info exists, I'd like a look at if someone would be willing to pass it along.
Thanks

2772/month as contractor... - expenses... Yes, you should be paid at least twice that.
