3-4000 sf custom home.

He needs to have it designed, and built, if a builder can offer design/build that would be even greater.

Is this a friend of yours who is relocating to the Chicago area?
Also, does he already have a lot in a certain area?

What's his price range?

Chicago and the suburban area is not only BIG...it's EXPENSIVE!

Not uncommon to find new construction going for $120-$200 s.f. and that's WITHOUT the lot in some instances.
