PWG, Nigel, Jackrabbit, Chris N, And Other WP Guys


Chicago DC14 wages are 35.00+ per hour. (Good) Wallpaper guys are are rare.

I'm sure one of us will put the word out about this on our forums. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not a commercial hanger myself, and I hate to say this, but $35 an hour was good $ when 35 bucks was...well, 35 bucks. This is why the commercial market has gone to the immigrant labor for the most part.

There is an NGPP contingent in that part of the country, but I'm not sure if they're Union affiliated or not. We'll put the word out, and thanks again for the heads up, brother.

Hell,I make more than that here in the boonies! but I am sure that you will get some response from people closer to the city that need some work.

For clarification, that sounds like that would be the Union Employees hourly pay rate. Not the contractors bid rate.

Would that be correct?

35/hr. is just the cash. Don't forget all the bennies in the union as well as the pension. Should come out to 50+/hr. total.
