Potential Employment In New York
My name is Brad Cashin and I am new to contractortalk.com. I will be separating from military service within a month and relocating to the Orange County, NY area, hoping to finding work, and was interested in what some of you look for in potential employees.
Prior to joining the Army I worked for a general contracting firm out of Ann Arbor, Michigan specializing in the remodeling of Victorian homes, doing demolition, framing, cabinetry, some electrical, and finish carpentry. I was also working on a construction management degree from Eastern Michigan University. I have an unparalleled work ethic and ability to learn, and though my past 3.5 years as a scout sniper may not have furthered my construction knowledge or abilities I know that the leadership, maturity, and communication skills I've gained will benefit me as I continue on this career path. I would like to work for a remodeling firm with the possibility of historical preservation and an emphasis on green building. I also plan to go back to school to complete my degree so would prefer part time, but would be more then willing to rearrange my schedule around the right company. Thank you for your time, I appreciate any response or forward you can send. Sincerely, Brad Cashin bradley.m.cashin@gmail.com (734)883-4824 |
