Moving To Greeley, CO Looking For Work

I am going to be relocating to Greeley, CO and would like to get in touch with some contractors before I get there. I am self-employed now and would kinda like to stay that way if possible. Who would be good to talk with near the Greeley area?

Vconstruction: For what this is worth; CNN had special on 2 nights ago; Colorado is Foreclosure Central in the US and GREELY is the largest foreclosure area in Colorado. Be very careful. My son in law bought a house in Loveland,2 yrs ago, his job went into the tank, was UNABLE to sell, and took him 8 months to get a renter. The front range is in a very serious decline.

Don't believe headlines, read the words that go with them and read between the lines. If you want to know about the foreclosure rates the information is readily available, but the smart squirrels find the nuts, the dumb ones believe everything they read and are the ones run over in the streets.

Without knowing your son-in-law personally, if you want I will explain exactly why he is in the situation he is in, and it will have little to nothing to do with where he live and a whole lot more about down payments, loan types and too much house.

I just bought a foreclosure, according to the headlines and TV shows about flipping I should have been able to buy it for nothing, however, reality and headlines have nothing in common.

If you believe the headlines, everyone on the east coast thinks living in Colorado means it snows all the time, reality is on a typical winter we shovel our driveways twice if we are lucky. For years my Dad would call me and wonder if I was alive, I'd ask him what he was talking about and he would tell me about how it was all over the news about a huge snowstorm dropping 3 feet of snow, I'd have to tell him that was 50 miles away in the mountains and that I got a sun-burn today and was wearing shorts.

Get smart and sniff around and uncover all the nuts and berries or keep stupid and be the squirrel run over in the road.

that's some really great advice Mike. I have to agree with ya.
There's also other things a man can do besides construction.
