I thought the union was supposed to be good for workers and represented the little guy.

Will the union like the fact that you're out there doing side work?

Will you be charging union rate for your side jobs?

Union rates are pretty competitive if not cheaper than the smaller guys.

Not going to name names, but had a guy out to install some track.. My wife added a light fixture to the list without talking to me first etc..

Damn guy tried to charge her 250 bucks to hang the fkn thing... IM talkn 5 min 2 bolts and 3 wirenuts....

I was .. not to mention I could have done it np... dont know why she asked him to hang it...

Maybe because he is licensed, knew it would get done that day, and wouldn't have to yell at him for screwing something else up during the process.

For helping total strangers move, nothing.

For unlicesned, uninsured and unbonded wanna-be-contractors, a lot.

I got nothing against someone working hard to feed his kids. But at least be legal. De otro modo, usted debe comenzar a aprender a hablar espaņol.

Pay is $15/hour, plus drinks (or a few six-packs, or 420, depending on your interests) afterward.

BTW....the "fun girls" could either be hotties, shamoo's or Shims
