Interviewing New Subs In Austin TX

It seems as though work is starting to pick back up around here so I would like to take advantage of these slow times to meet some new tradesman in the Austin area. We are looking for one or two man operations along with guys who run a crew for the bigger projects. People who are on site most of the time are preffered but if there is a competent crew leader who is in charge that is just as good. One problem we have run into before is that our project manager has had to run the crew leader and the man with the contract with us is not around much except when it comes time for a check. Standard proceedure is when your work passes your inspection then it can go through our inspection followed by the city and the homeowners. Pay comes after work is approved through online bill pay which usually arrives in five buisiness days. Subs with insurance is great but not needed in most cases. A subcontract agreement between us and sub is completed prior to working on our jobsite. All change orders are written and signed prior to starting work. Though documented immigrant workers are welcome we do not want a group of non english speaking immigrants left in a customers home as it is important that the customer feels like there property is being well taken care of. If you are at the subcontract price level and would like to meet or talk with us please post here or pm, thanks.
