Charlottesville, VA

Looking to relocate from central NY. My wife acepted a medical research position in Charlottesville starting this month. I have a slot in the October 2007 basic session for the Virginia State Police. I have a landscape/excavating/snow plowing business here in NY that I was trying to sell.

Sold off part of the business last fall & winter, but still have some trucks & equipment left. Wondering what the work is like in Charlottesville area. Think it would be possible to pick up a couple reliable employees and then continue the business after I join VSP?

Anyone looking to sub excavation or landscape work in the area?

You can definatly get work in that area. It's a large college area with a pretty nice wealthy population. People take pride in their homes in that area. I usually like riding my motorcycle through the area on the weekends.

You won't be as busy as you would be in the D.C. metro area.

What are you looking to sell?
