Vinyl Picket Fence On Incline

To all of you fence guys - got an inquiry from a customer about a vinyl scalloped picket fence (4' high). A majority of this is on a slope (40-45 degrees).

I know these panels have the ability to rack to an extent, but can they be racked for that type of incline?? Do I need to special order panels???

Looking at USA Vinyl or Fairway, routed posts.

Any suggestions towards one or another? Budget is of no concern.

Re: Vinyl Picket Fence On Incline

Thats a steep grade for racking vinyl. I would start by calling different manufacturers such as Certainteed who manufactures Bufftech vinyl fencing and inquire about the rackability and other options. Most 4' tall vinyl fences rack to about a 10 degree grade. I know alot of aluminum products that will make that grade, and alot of times they cost less. Of course it is upto the customer and the customer's HOA. Some grades just exceed the racking ability of some fence types and have to be stepped.
Good Luck!
