Sorry fellas I've been on vacation! GLID - thanks for using our product - if you PM me with your info I'll send you a router bit on the house. It makes the picture framing easy, you use a classic (squareedge) board and rout one side of it with the bit. And if you buy a 100-pack of color matched screws that should be about right for the screwing down that classic board + the fascia.

On the touchup paint it matches surprisingly well. Try it on a scrap - use a foam brush. You can leave the pens with the H.O. once you wrap up the job.

Marty,
I don't know how to use PM or it's not active. I'm starting a 24 x 16 in August and plan on pictureframing with Mahog and using Cedar for the main.

Try emailing me at glidbq@comcast.net and I'll reply with my info.

My main business is timberframe, but I will GC for food!!! I've done a few decks and have used mahog, PT, Trex and CorrectDeck. CorrectDeck wins hands down and will be the recomendation for all the future projects. I love the CX look and can't wait to get going on the Aug. project. This will be the first time with CX.
I also dabble in CAD design. But these message board functions confuse me.

edited to say: I need 19 more post before I can PM! Too bad dad told me to shut up and listen all the time. Maybe I would have more posts. ;-)

Hey, where's my free router bit? I just got done a 1000 square footer! We triple pic-framed so I just used a solid board on the outside and the inner two were grooved. I'll post some finished pics soon.
