Today Was Another Good Day
I just can't figure this season out. March was a complete write off, the first two weeks of April were dead, and then it just took off. We wound up with a good April for total sales (not great, not my best, but good nonetheless)
Now, May seems to be pretty good. LAst night I signed a $14000 deck, and today I got confirmation for a $36,000 deck. I have jacked all my pricing this year, by about 10% over last year, and I don't seem to be having much price resistance. I'm not complaining, but it does seem a little strange, especially since I hear that some of my competitors are hurting. ah well, get it while you can. |

Re: Today Was Another Good Day
Same here, phone started going nuts half-way thru April. All winter and early spring I was just getting by, enough work to keep my bills paid but nothing much more than that. Then I got a $37k deck, just finished that, getting ready to start a $28k deck as soon as I'm done these two bath remodels. Just signed a houseful of replacement windows, $10k, a $2k moving out punch-list, a $4k small deck repair, and several more in the pipeline. Gotta love spring!

Re: Today Was Another Good Day
I worry about what happens when Agust rolls around. Will it all dry up. What is your experience Steve? And don't make me buy a franchise for the answer.
