any guys have any ideas have a couple customers right now that want benches on top of there deck but they were wondering if they could get waterproof storage? I told them it would probrably cost quite a bit more but they dont care. Anyone have a design for something like that? or what type material should I build them out of? Thanks guys for all your help

The simpilest and most cost effective method I have used is to insert a water proof box of some sort into what you build instead of trying to build something water proof. Build the bench to accomodate the water proof box with a nice custom fit and a lid that opens.

My 2 cents

have the tin knockers fab a soldered box w / drain, outa galvy.
Also need a hinged lid of same material. This is all covered with a hinged
seat ,and surround of deck material to match . Add in $200.00
cash for My design fee

The plastic box inside would be the less costley way to go. A person could also glue up the top and sides of the bench and charge the dickens out of the Wallet for custom work. Tightbond111 and biskets would do it with a rubber seal under the door/lid. Around $200 would work for me as well!! John
