Round Rail Posts

I have client who wants to put a wrap around front porch on. The roof of the porch is olnly going to be on the front of the house. We are using 8 inch round columns to support this roof. The HO is asking if i can get roung railing posts for the railings along the rest of the deck.
Do any of you guys know where or if I can get round rail posts in vinly or composite?

It is possible to use pvc pipe for balusters and posts. For the balusters I made my conectors on the drill press with a holesaw, 6'' pvc pipe for the posts involve the ol square peg in a round hole thing. Make up the inner post from pt 2x4 so the 4 corners just barley touch the pipe when its slid over the top. John

Re: Round Rail Posts

house I'm working on has some big round PVC pipes out front that are stucco'd for columns at the front entry. I was surprised when I figured out they were just PVC pipes

mikec - did you ever do this job? How did you cap the posts? How did the slip-fit over the PT 4x4 work?
