Remove Deck Boards Tool

Has anyone used any of those new deck board removing tools I've seen advertised?

Can't remember where I've seen them either, just looked thru the lateset issues of Remodeling and F.H.Building magazines and didn't see them in there..

Just googled deckwrecker. Looks pretty cool. Think I'll buy one on my next deck wrecking job

Re: Remove Deck Boards Tool

deckwrecker is a handy tool for removing nailed deck boards, for
screwed in boards you need to impact or remove the screws, or
at least most of them, especially if you are planing on reuse of
any of the boards....well worth the $60 price tag..

Re: Remove Deck Boards Tool

The deckwrecker will pay for itself the first deck it is used on. We use it with screwed or nailed boards. after the boards are off, we go through with a hammer (screws mostly break off) or sawzal.
