Re-vamping Website

After checking out some of you all's sites i realized that mine needed some serious updating. i meet with my webguy last night to discuss changes and give him some newer pics to put on. i am open to any suggestions if you're willing to give them.

i'm looking for a new background, the old graphpaper has got to go, but what? Also the mouse-over clickable boards at the bottom too. Thinking about an advice page for homeowners wanting to know how to maintain their decks. Do you think that's something folks would appreciate?

Tia, Al

darn keyboard is mess'in up now, just had to get a new monitor for a pc less than 1 yr. old, i guess they don't make 'em like they use to.

Deckman, you've got the luxury of an existing site that needs a facelift. The text isn't horrible, there are probably some improvements you could make, but really what you need is someone to fix the "look" and the rest can follow. The hardest part of your decision will be choosing the right person or firm to do it.
