Sure you weren't calling your hubby Mary?

I was in Florida this July...I thought I was going to melt

It's been a rain and snow mix here for the last 24 hours. 1 1/2" this morning and winter snow warning 4-7 inches 'till 8am tomorrow....

Bright and sunny to burn off the rest of the snow. There was 8" of snow here the beginning of this week, none now.

just goes to show you the global warming nutballs are off their damn rockers. Mother nature is truly a woman, and as unpredictable as any I have met. Don't think you have her figured out.. she will show you otherwise.

It is really too damn cold though.. I was banking on it being like it has been for the last couple years.

Truth be told, I remember it being colder for longer periods of time 10 years ago. I've talked with quite a few people in this area that agree.

Below normal temps here too, all year.

I've read that we have had the quietest solar activity since 1913. The sun has an eleven year cycle, (solar max sunspots to solar minimum)

We've had either very few or no solar spots and flares for nearly two years.

That's why it's cold. To show how delicate this whole ball in the sky thing is, if the sun heated or cooled by 10% or more, the planet would become uninhabitable very quickly.

All hail the sun!
