Need A Strong Railing For Concrete Stoop
I'm looking for an alternative to the 'Style-Rite Industries' aluminum step railing I've done in the past. Four 1/4" lag bolts hold it down and it's not as secure as I would like-ok when I leave but I'm concerned in 4 years a large person could put too much weight on it and over it goes (seen it happen?).
any alternatives for a larger post on a 5 step conrete stoop-originally iron rail set the concrete? I've contemplated a 4x4 post bolted to the side of the stoop, covered in a vinyl post jacket-that would definitely give it strength. any recomendations on top mounted posts that ARE sturdy? |

Re: Need A Strong Railing For Concrete Stoop
around here a lot of the welding shop do those kinds of projects. May not be the look you are after but they usually do a good job.
