MA Building Codes

I know I need to get a new code book.
I have heard there are some new codes (at least in ma) for decks.

New codes require hurricane hangers connecting floor joists to girders?

Solid blocking between joist over girders?

Anyone know if this is correct?

Re: MA Building Codes

Yeah, they all need hangers, and every hole in the hanger has to have a nail. So says the Mass Politiburo.
