Ipe Deck
I did the hardwood in a house on the gulf coast and the H.O. asked me if I could clean up and seal the ipe deck and dock with a teak oil sealer. The deck does not look bad, but is a little weatherd. It is about 7 years old. Is there a cleaner I can use. I need something that is EPA compliant since the deck is in the marina. Any advise? If this is in the wrong forum please move it.

Re: Ipe Deck
Use a sodium percarbonate based cleaner. Then use oxalic acid solution to brighten and Ph balance the wood. This combo works fantastically and it is completely safe for the surrounding environment.
