HFS Vs Top Screwing

HFS vs top screwing
Just looking for opinions on whether the cost difference is justified to you using one vs, the other.

I havent had the opportunity to use a HFS so all of my composites have been face screwed.

I really do like the HFS idea and would like to use it but is the additional cost worht it?

What additional cost? Face screws cost money too you know. The really good face screws (which you should be using) are very expensive. Not to mention that it takes much longer to face screw a board neatly than it does to install a HFS clip with one screw.

All I install is HFS and it's definitely faster (and better looking) than even the best face screw job.

I currently use Fastenmaster Trapease screws for my composites, I was under the impression that most HFS were more expensive. I havent used any HFS system yet but plan to try to sell the feature on my next deck. I did a search and read through some posts and I gathered (or thought I gathered) that HFS were more costly.

If I do go with a HFS I believe I like the TT Concealocs the best, any thoughts on that matter?

They only worth with TT, but TC makes variants for generic gooved composites that are very similar. And yes, they are very easy and fast to install.
