Front Porch Rebuild

Just some shots from a little project 2 blocks from home. Man 40 bucks instead of 200 in gas last week was nice!

Re: Front Porch Rebuild

Corner posts are orginals, I heat gunned like 30 coats of paint off and tuned them up. The half posts I made to match the orginals. All flooring and railings are Fiberon.

No the posts are, Railings are Fiberon Composite. I made the half posts to match orginal/existing corner posts.

Re: Front Porch Rebuild

How are the new Fiberon stair brackets? The old ones flat out sucked. I know they changed the design to a removable pin or something.

What are your bottom stair rail posts mounted to?

Nice job.

Re: Front Porch Rebuild

They still suck, I don't know if the pins are removable or not. I will say one thing my ecentric and right angle chucks for my Festool drill got a work out.
The bottom posts are the sleeves around 4x4's concreeted in the ground.
