Fiberon Deck Pilot Install Jig

Anyone seen this or used it yet? My suppliers don't have it in yet, I'd love to try it on Azek since they don't make it pre-grooved.

way cool looking tool... I heard about them making it almost a year ago but they did not have a real one made yet to show me. I like it and of course they are using my favorite screws in the pics (GRK RT T-10 screws) so I like it even more.

Re: Fiberon Deck Pilot Install Jig

That was my next question-according to them the screws are "proprietary"(read, expensive) to their system. I'd like to be able to buy them elsewhere at a discount. Sounds like I can.

They are not cheap by any means... so dont get too excited. I think I pay $180 for 2,500 screws. (not the SS ones) In my dry climate the coated (they are ACQ compliant) screws are just fine. No need for SS.

It's actually a Sensibuilt product, but Fiberon just bought them.

Looks like a winner if you like driving screws.

I have seen the future and it doesn't involve screws.

Did you guys see the pneumatic installer for the tiger claw clips on the back of deck builder mag? That thing looks cool.

Re: Fiberon Deck Pilot Install Jig

i have tested it, there are some issues. hopefully they will work them out.
the screw do not snub the decking down all the way, spacing is too big, not easy to use on 45's, and mine broke after 10 screws.
