Evolution Railing

So looking for a composite type of system that incorporates the decking as the top surface. So I found Evolutions

I havent installed it before and I see surface mounted screws and wonder about those cap miters.....OR if I can substitute another deck product onto the rail even though the Evolution cap is over 6 inches.

How about another brand with similar outcome?

Re: Evolution Railing

I think Timbertech’s Builder rail is designed for decking as the top cap.

Re: Evolution Railing

Now you tell me......

I left it in the hands of the sales guys at the yard. I guess he wasn't versed in all of the products available

I was concerned with the joints at the intersections. Any feedback on that for future reference?

Re: Evolution Railing

Back them we mitered them. I don't think I'd do that now. More than likely look for a way to log cabin them with a weave. Like I do borders now.
