Eon

I am looking for input from anyone who has built an EON deck. If anyone out there has used this product before, please give me your opinion if you like the Eon product and the installation of it. I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks

Re: Eon

I would rather jump into freeway trafic during rush hour from a 30' on ramp than use eon. J

Use the search function here and also Google it.

It has pros and cons. If your crew is not detail oriented, forget about it. Also, DO NOT use eon's railing system. Use something RDI.

I'll pretend I'm RobertCDF and save him some typing:

"I just love CorrectDeck. Love it. Love it. Love it!"

Awesome...

I've gotta say, Greg Di's deck he showed off here made me consider using it, but it still wouldn't be my first choice. (Moisture Shield, Procell, CorrectDeck, TimberTech, or even Trex first).

Re: Eon

The composite decking industry seems to be breaking down into segments: deep grain, tropical, big box, and Ultra-Low Maintenance. I think you could make the case that CorrectDeck CX is the leader in the ultra-low maintenance segment. No exposed wood fiber so it's easy to clean, it's the only decking with Microban, and it has the Fastenator, which is the best hidden fastener system. Robert, thanks for your support!

Re: Eon

Little side note this being a Contractor Site and all >> On another deck forum that got totaly taken over by the spam bandits a Wallet asked about scraches in eon decking, I am not kidding here, the national sales rep got on advising using crayons for small scraches and a wax stick from one of the box stores for deeper ones. Belive me we did not let that one go. In fact on the 100 year mark of the invention of Crayons we had a good yuck, man I miss that site I met some good Folks. J
